Successful Media Launch kickstarts external investment opportunities
Thursday 29th September 2011 saw the official launch of the Veterans' Retreat Building Our Heroes A Home campaign as the UK's first centre for the rehabilitation of former troops. The 55-acre site based in Northumberland, near Ebchester, marks the flagship site that is set to see the whole project become a reality.

Veterans Retreat is a residential and medical facility providing dedicated care and support for Veterans of HM Forces.

Over the past two decades there has been a marked increase in the amount of active service that our armed forces are being tasked to engage in. The conflicts in the Balkans, Afghanistan, and the Middle East have all resulted in a serious rise in casualties.
